Explanation:

Answer for question in attachment 1

Simplify (x^{2} -9)/(x^{2} -3x)

= (x-3)(x+3)/x(x-3) [ using the formula

=(x+3) /x [cancelling like terms]

= 1 +3/x

Answer for question in attachment 2

1) When the given equation is equal to 0, the solution from the graph can be obtained by finding the value of x when y = 0 .

From the graph we see that the value of y = 0 when x= -0.25 or x = 1.25

Hence the solution is x= -0.25 or x = 1.25

2)When the given equation is equal to 2, the solution from the graph can be obtained by finding the value of x when y = 2 .

From the graph we see that the value of y = 2 when x= -0.5 or x = 1.5

Hence the solution is x= x= -0.5 or x = 1.5
