Without any documentation at hand, network administrators and security experts will not be able to resolve potential issues. The problem becomes bigger when an issue arises in a legacy system or when the staff change happens in the IT team. Network creators should always document the exact structure of the network, containing the IP addresses of all the devices. Also, it should include a network diagram.
