Express 5x - 2y = 6 in the form y = mx + b

hi :)

  • we have 5x - 2y = 6
  • we want y = mx + b
  • lets try to re-arrange it so we get close :)
  • -2y = -5x + 6
  • close, now we just need y alone, so divide by -2:

  • y = (5)/(2)x -3
