Answer: (2z^2+3)(z+2)(z-2)

Explanation:

2z^4-5z^2-12, first you want to split the second term (2z^4-5z^2-12) into two terms. Then factor out common terms in the first two terms, then in the last two terms.

z^2(2z^2+3)-4(2z^2+3)

(2z^2+3)(z^2-4)

(2z^2+3)(z^2-2)

(2z^2+3)(z+2)(z-2)

Hope this helps, HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! As well as a great Superbowl Weekend! :-)
