Answer:

448 subscribers

Explanation:

Given:

Number of randomly selected customers = 50

Out of 50 users, number using internet for more than 15 hours per week = 28

Now, number of subscribers = 800

Let the number of subscribers using internet for more than 16 hours per week be 'x'.

So, out of 50 subscribers, 28 use internet for more than 15 hours

Therefore, out of 800 subscribers, 'x' use internet for more than 15 hours.

Setting up a proportion and solving by cross multiplication method, we get:

(28)/(50)=(x)/(800)\\\\50* x=28* 800\\\\50x=22400\\\\x=(22400)/(50)\\\\x=448

Therefore, the number of subscribers using internet for more than 15 hours a week is 448 out of total 800 subscribers.
