The following are the reasons why the working conditions added to peasant unrest before the Russian revolution:
The
quality of the food
that was given to the peasants was third-grade.
The summers had intensified which made the peasant run for shadow every now and then, but the supervisors ordered them to return to work. The peasants were given
severe punishments
if they refused to return to work.
Moreover, the
lunch break
that was given to the peasants lasted only for an hour which was not enough for the peasants to have their food and then take some rest.
