Answer:
-5y - 2x =
31

Explanation:

The formula for calculating equation of line when two points are given is :

(y-y_(1))/(x-x_(1))=
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

x_(1)=7

x_(2) = 2

y_(1) = -9

y_(2) = -7

Substituting the values into the equation , we have

(y-(-9))/(x-7) =
(-7-(-9))/((2-7))

(y+9)/(x-7) =
(2)/(-5)

cross multiplying , we have

-5(y+9) =
2(x-7)

-5y-45 =
2x - 14

-5y - 2x =
-14 + 45

-5y - 2x =
31
