Kyra has a summer job selling ice- cream bars . she is paid $40 per day . she is also paid a commission of $0.25 for each ice- cream bar she sells. Create and evalute an algebraic expression to calculate how much kyra can earn in one day if she sells 77 ice - cream bars .

Explanation:

Okay you start by taking the 77 ice creams she sells in one day and multiply the 0.25 commission she makes for each ice cream she sells

So
77(0.25) you would put 77 on top and 0.25 on bottom you would then take 5 and multiply it by both 7s thus giving you 3.85 then you take the 2 and multiply by both 7s thus giving you 15.40 if you add 3.85 & 15.40 you get 19.25 thats what Kyra earns just on commission you would then add the 40 to the 19.25 the answer to that is 59.25

C = commission
I = ice cream
P = pay
40 + C + I = P
40 + 0.25 x 77 =59.25
Therefore, if Kyra sells 77 ice creams than she will be paid $59.25
