i) Usually Intersection and Union have the same precedence.

ii) in this case for A∩B∪C we can write A∩(B∪C)

iii) therefore B∪C is given by regions II, III, IV, V , VI and VII

iv) A which is region I, II IV, V

v) Therefore intersection of A with B∩C we regions II, IV and V
