Answer:

x - intercept = 1

Explanation:

The equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

Here m = - 3 and c = 3, thus

y = - 3x + 3 ← equation of line

The x- intercept has a y- coordinate of zero.

let y = 0 in the equation and solve for x, that is

- 3x + 3 = 0 ( subtract 3 from both sides )

- 3x = - 3 ( divide both sides by - 3 )

x = 1 ← x- intercept
