Humans often like to help wild animals. A park ranger near Dwayne’s offspring has decided to feed them. He begins putting medicine in the meat that keeps the cubs from contracting infections common to lions in the area. Because of this, nearly all of Dwayne’s offspring survive to adulthood. Eventually, the park ranger gets a job transfer and leaves the area. Predict what we may see in the following generation (Dwayne’s grandcubs). Will they still be fitter than other lions?

Answer:

No, because they need the park ranger to survive till adulthood.

Step-by-step explanation:

The scenario in the above question shows that the lions were not naturally fit for living in the certain environment. They were able to survive to adulthood because the park ranger inserted medicine in the meat which stopped the cubs from contracting infections. Dwayne's grand cubs will also not be still be fitter than other lions and they will need the medicine in order to survive till adulthood. Hence, when the park ranger leaves, Dwayne's grand cubs will probably die due to infections.
