Answer: k=2/3

k=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)... (*)

A(x1,y1)=A(2,5)..... x1=2,x2=5

B(x2,y2)=B(7,Y).... x2=7.

In (*) put the given values

2/3=(Y-5)/(7-2)

2/3=(Y-5)/5

(2*5)/3=Y-5

10/3=Y-5

10/3+5=Y

10/3+15/3=Y

Y=25/3
