Answer:

Statistics show that when you are born into poverty it is much more difficult to get out of that situation rather than if you were born with a different social status. This is also the case with single-parent households. The number of single-parent households is growing as a result of divorces. Meanwhile, many women have decided to adopt children by themselves and raise them in a single-parent household. The pattern of children per household is decreasing because my adults do not see the need and are content with one child which means they are still able to pursue the things that matter to them such as a career or hobbies. These statistics show that the family patterns in the United States are changing, but the consequences of them we do not know yet.

Answer:

In the modern-day United States, there are few directions in which patterns in which family life is changing:

  • The number of single-parent households is growing as a result of divorces. Meanwhile, many women diced to raise one or several children by themselves from the very beginning. The adopt or acquire sperm from a donor father, in order to give birth to their own child.
  • The number of children in each household is decreasing as well. Many parents no longer want to have several children, and prefer to have one child while still being active at work and other things that matter to them, as travel and well-being.
  • Many couples prefer to stay child-free because the need to have children altogether is being vigorously questioned in past decades. Such people also do not marry and often just opt for cohabitation.
