Answer: 1059

Step-by-step explanation: look at the picture to help you. In 5th grade, I learned PEMDAS.

p = parenthesis

e = exponent

m/d = multiplication/division

a/s = addition & subtraction

As you can see, I cut my equation in half from the addition sign. Then, I did the multiplication and division equations Seperately. Now add the product and quotient. You get 1059.

Simplify the expression. 33 • 32 + 12 ÷ 4 291 219 867 437-example-1

Answer:

option c - 867

Explanation:

so the 33 is supposed to be 3 to the power of the so it would technically be 27 not 33.

so you do 27 . 32 which gives you 864.

then you divide 12 by 4 and you'll get 3.

then just add 864 and 3 to get 867.

the correct answer for you so you don't have to do the math.
