Hello!
For the first question, most lab reports require short summaries, where you write about your investigation and observations. You may start with re-stating(paraphrasing) the aim and hypothesis of the lab. Use phrases such as "The aim of this experiment was ___" and "It was assumed that ___". After you may shortly re-state your findings. For example, "It was found out ____".
For the second question, I am not sure in what exact context you meant it. But it seems that you used materials of different electrical or/and thermal conductivity or maybe insulation. I assume that you were also given certain geographic area to which this house would or would not be applicable. Therefore, you may compare those characteristics in different material and decide whether they are compatible with your hypothesis.
For example, thermal insulation in buildings is used to prevent heat loss. So, to provide with good thermal insulation, the thermal conductivity of the material has to be low.
Hopefully I was able to help you!
