The Microsoft word reference feature is a good tool to manage bibliography and reference citations

Step-by-step explanation:

  • For using this feature one needs to click on the reference tab and then click on the citation button to open citation pane.
  • Now one needs to choose their citation style (e.g.,APA, Chicago, MLA) at the top of the pane.
  • to create a citation one needs to click on the small plus sign at the bottom of the citation pane.
  • A New Source box appears in which you shall enter all the needed information .
  • After you click OK, an in-text citation will appear at the cursor in the document.

It is false that Microsoft word reference feature will accurately document the references for the Works Cited page and the in-text citations that are required because the accuracy of the information depends on the data entered by the user.
