The following are the two contrasting religious beliefs on heaven:
Heaven as a place:
A large faction of the Christian population believes that heaven is a place that we are rewarded with to live after death, owing to the good deeds that we commit through the course of our life.
Heaven as the idea of utter salvation:
Another faction in Christianity believes that heaven is not a place, but the idea of getting out of the cycle of reincarnation and ultimately attaining utter salvation.
