Can someone please tell me what (-8)^-2 is? Thanks!

(-8)^(-2)
= (1)/(64)

Explanation:


(-8)^(-2)
= ((1)/(-8) )^2
= (1)/(64) since
(-8)^2
= (-8)* (-8) = 64
