Distribute the parentheses first
5/2 • x = 5/2x
5/2 • 2/3 = 5/3
After that, you get 41/9 = 5/2x + 5/3 -1/3
add like terms
41/9 = 5/2x + 4/3
solve the equation
it should get you 58/45
