A rectangular flag is 24ft long and 18ft wide. If a triangle is cut out of the center of the flag that has a base of 7ft and a height of 14ft, what is the remaining area of the flag?

Explanation:

Simple

Area of rectangle - area of triangle

(LxW) - HB/2

(24 * 18) - (7*14/2)

432 - 49 = 383
