Anything with a numerator (top) greater then the denominater (bottom) here are some examples:


(11)/(2)


\tfrac{8}{5}


(399)/(7)


(6)/(2)

These are all fractions that are greater than 1. You can create any of these by putting a bigger number on the top than on the bottom of the fraction
