so GCF is 2

divide each term when we take out GCF 2

so
2(x^2 + 3x - 18)

now factor the trinomial

product is -18 and sum is +3

6 times -3 is -18 and 6-3=3


2(x^2+3x-18)\\2(x+6)(x-3)
