Slope of a given line is
m = (y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2) - x_(1) )........(1)

The point (-2,0) lie on x-axis in the graph and another point ( 0, 1) lie on y- axis.

so
(x_(1) , y_(1)) = (-2,0) and (x_(2) , y_(2)) = (0,1)

substitute these values in equation (1)


m = (1-0)/(0-(-2))


m = (1)/(2)

slope of given line is
