3. A concert choir is arranged, per row, according to an arithmetic sequence. There are 14 singers

in the third row and 30 singers in the seventh row.
(a) Find the common difference of this arithmetic sequence

There are 10 rows in the choir and 6 singers in the first row
(b) Find the total number of singers in the choir.

3= 26 more singers are on the seventh row

total amount of singers including the first question would be 60

Explanation:
