Also it helps in the secretion of Cortisol , which is hormone that helps in blood sugar level. Another use of Cholesterol is to produce the bile juice which is an emulsifier that breaks down the larger fat molecules. The main role cholesterol is to provide a protective barrier and repairing the cells that are damaged thereby by protecting the immune system
