If 'x' and 'y' are Complementary Angles the we have


x+y=90\°

Here, ∠P and ∠Q are complementary.


\angle P+\angle Q=90\°

Substituting the values we get


52+3x+2=90\\3x=90-54=36\\\\x=(36)/(3)=12

Therefore the value of x is
