How do you identify the slope and y-intercept

to identify the slope you need to find 2 points of the line and then plug them int the following equation: y2-y1/x2-x1 and then solve. to find the y intercept you need to plug in any of those 2 points and the slope to the following equation: y= mx + b; plunging in the value of y , x , and the slope for m and then solve for b
