Answer: She isn't correct.

Step-by-step explanation: The BODMAS rule must be strictly followed and as such gives different answers to the two expressions.

(12-3)*2 basically gives:

9*2 (Dealing with the bracket first)

While 12-(3*2) while dealing with the bracket first will give:

12-6; which would eventually give
