What is the probability that she rolls a number greater that 4 or a 2?

2. A box contains 5 black shirts, 9 blue shirts, 7 black pants, and 8 blue pants. Determine the probability of randomly selecting a black piece of clothing or a shirt. Use P(A or B)= P(A and B) to explain your answer.

Answer:

1) well their 4 numbers that will be greater then 2 and 4

so 4 over 6 ---> 2/3

2) their is 29 peices of clothing in all and 12 clothes that are black so the be

12/29 now just for a shirt its 14/29
