Answer: -15

Explanation:

x^(4) + 24 = 105

subtract 24 from both sides of the equation .

x^(4) = 105 - 24

x^(4) = 81

find the fourth root of both sides

x = 3

Therefore : substitute x = 3 to find the value of
x^(2) -24

x^(2) - 24 =
3^(2) - 24

= 9 - 24

= - 15
