Answer: slope = 1

Explanation:

The formula for finding slope is given as :

slope =
(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))

x_(1) = -5

x_(2) = 3

y_(1) = -3

y_(2) = 5

substituting the values into the formula , we have :

slope =
(5-(-3))/(3-(-5))

slope =
(5+3)/(3+5)

slope =
(8)/(8) = 1

Therefore : the slope of the line is 1
