Separation of powers:
The
President of the United States
is the one who gives the final consent on the laws passed by the United States Congress. He bears the authority to not give his consent to the if in the law is unjust or unconstitutional in his conscience.
The
United States Congress
has the responsibility to frame and pass laws for the betterment of the nation before sending for the consent of the President.
The
federal courts
, especially the
Supreme court
, bears the authority to dictate any law passed by Congress to be unconstitutional through judicial review.
