Before the great - depression in germany, The nazi party was a small party on the radical right of german political system. But during 1930 - 1933 the economic depression had hit the country hard, many germans lost thier jobs and thought of the goverment as weak, and could not solve there problem. They had this anger for years, and eventually most believed Hitler, just because they did not have any other expalnation for themselves. So they joined the Nazi party and the rest is history :D Hoped this helps :)
