• g^-1
y = 3x – 4
3x = y + 4
x = y + 4 / 3
g^-1 = x + 4 / 3
• g(13)
3(13) – 4
39 – 4
g(13) = 35
• g^-1(g(13)) = (35) + 4 / 3
39 / 4
g^-1(g(13)) = 13
