The answer is negative the reciprocal of 1/-2 is -2/1 which just means -2 therefore the answer is negative

The good part about this question is you don't have to know the actual values of b or c, otherwise, I would be stumped too.

Given:

b is within 0 -> 1 b is positive

c is within -1 -> -2, c is negative


(b)/(c) = b/c. When you have a fraction and one numerator is positive while the denominator is negative (or visa-versa, numerator is negative and denominator is positive), then the answer will ALWAYS be negative

so +b/-c = negative result
