Land region was too large to defend caused the fall of the Roman Empire.

Step-by-step explanation:

The western Roman Empire did not enforce the rules and hence the very big territory was divided into several parts. There were five main reasons that led to the fall of the Roman Empire. These includes, Political, economic, foreign invasion, social and military reasons. From the period of 27 BC to 476 AD seventy eight emperors were there.

It was the Praetorian Guard who killed many emperors. The reason behind their act is that they planned to sell their thrones. The main reason that caused the empire to decline politically was the absence of written rules that describes emperors throne success. Since there were 44 countries, it was very difficult to govern. The empire was too large so one person could not govern it.
