Absorption of heat is directly dependent on heat conductivity which is explained below.

Step-by-step explanation:

Heat conductivity is defined as a property of a matter by which it can absorb heat from a source and conduct the same to its other part, with increase in its own temperature. Heat conductivity is a very good property of metals by which metals can very quickly transfer heat from one part to other. This occurs because metals get heated up very quickly owing to its low specific heat capacity. The matter with highest specific heat is water, so its the worst conductor of heat. Thus copper tubes are used as heat conductors while water is used as the coolant.
