Now you can look at the number of factors and terms. There are 2 factors in the equation. And, 2 terms in the parenthesis. The 2 terms in the parenthesis are being added together, so they are looking for the sum of the 2 terms.

So, with this information, we can conclude that A is the appropriate answer choice for this problem.

Product is Multiplication. There are 2 factors in the parenthesis. You are adding two terms also. So, the answer would be A.

A.) a product of 2 factors and a sum of 2 terms
