Total cost=
Activation\ fees+ (due\ to\ be\ paid\ each\ month* number\ of\ months)

Lets assume the number of months, due to be paid be "x" and total cost be "y".

∴ Slope will be
99, which is due paid every month and
constant\ value\ 50\ will\ be\ intercept

∴ Forming an equation on the total cost of phone.


y= 99x+55

Hence, the equation for the total cost of phone will be
y= 99x+55
