Your friend wants to lose weight around the belly. Your friend is planning to do crunches every day to lose the weight, but is not planning on doing any other exercises. Do you think this strategy will be effective? Why or why not? What can your friend do to increase the pace of weight loss? Explain your answer

Doing crunches every day would not help your friend loose weight around their belly because 1 doing only one exercise over and over will only exercise one muscle group so the change would be very small and 2 to loose weight you have to change your diet exercise will only do a small part while dietary changes can make a great difference.
