Answer: 0.33M CaBr2

Explanation: Molarity is expressed in moles of solute over liter solution.

M= n solute / L solution

Solution:

First convert mass of CaBr2 to moles using its molar mass

Ca = 40

Br = 80 x 2 answer is 200 g CaBr2.

50.0g CaBr2 x 1 mole CaBr2 / 200 g CaBr2 = 0.25 moles CaBr2

Next convert mL to L

750.0 mL x 1L / 1000mL

= 0.75 L

Substitute the values for M.

M= 0.25 moles CaBr2/ 0.75 L

= 0.33 M CaBr2
