1008 cm water will be in the beaker after 12 seconds

Solution:

Step 1:

Given data: The beaker starts empty.

Quantity of water in the beaker after 5 seconds = 420 cm

Step 2:

Quantity of water in the beaker after 1 second =
(420)/(5) cm

Quantity of water in the beaker after 1 second = 84 cm

Step 3:

Quantity of water in the beaker after 12 second = 84 cm × 12

Quantity of water in the beaker after 12 second = 1008 cm

Hence, 1008 cm water will be in the beaker after 12 seconds.
