Brayden has a package of 95 marbles he gave a equal number of marbles to each 6 of his friends. How many marbles does each friend get and how many will be left over?

Given:

Number of marbles he has = 95

Number of friends he gave marbles = 6

We need to find number of marbles each friend would get and number of marbles left over.

Solution:

Now we know that;

number of marbles each friend would get can be calculated by dividing number of marbles he has with number of friends he gave the marbles.

framing in equation form we get;

number of marbles each friend =
(95)/(6) = 15.83

now we can see that if 15 marbles are divided in 6 friends then 5 marbles would be left which cannot be divided equally.

Hence we can say that Each friend would get 15 marbles and 5 marbles will be left over.
