A frequency distribution of qualitive data is a way of grouping data based on the frequency intervals of categorical data (that is, data based on survey instead of numbers). On it's own qualitive data is often difficult to interpret; by calculating the frequency of results with ratios, it gives weight and quantity to the values, making them easier to analyze and visualize.
