Answer:

Option C that is
x=4,DF=EG=15 the right choice.

Explanation:

Given,

A rectangle with the measures of its diagonal DF and EG.

Measure of diagonal DF =
5x-5

Measure of diagonal EG =
x+11

Note:Diagonal length of the rectangle are same.

So DF = EG

5x-5=x-11

Subtracting
x and adding
5 on both sides.

We have,

5x-x=11+5

4x=16

Dividing 4 both sides.

x=(16)/(4)=4

So the value of
x is
4.

Now plugging the value of
x=4,we will find the numeric value of DF and EG.

DF =
5x-5 =5(4)-5=15

EG=
x+11=4+11=15

Both are equal DF = EG.

So x=
4 and the length of diagonals are equal, DF = EG =
15 unit.
