Fictional characters behave according to the same psychological probabilities as real people. But the characters of fiction are found in exotic dilemmas that real people hardly encounter. Consequently, fiction provides us with the opportunity to ponder how people react in uncommon situations, and to deduce moral lessons, psychological principles, and philosophical insights from their behavior.

Answer:

It is real life

Explanation:

The exotic dilemmas that the question talks about do not occur verbatim as per the story but there are similarities in the situations of the story and a real life. Assuming the instance of Cinderella, the story shows the marriage between a commoner and a Prince, Cinderella is faced by many hardships at the hands of her step-mother but she stays humble and kind. Such situations are also faced by many individuals on daily basis where they encounter adversaries who end up influencing their personalities. Cinderella shows persistence and resilience to such adversary and gains a fruitful outcome.

The psychological probabilities of such events occurring are low but we face similar situations in our day to day lives. These story also depicts the result of cruelty and villainous behavior of the characters, this further influences the reader to ponder on their own actions.

Thus it is safe to say that we may not be a situation where our sister has power of creating ice (Frozen) but we do learn the love of the family and the power of unity.
