The formula is used to find the diameter of circle is:
d = (C)/(3.14)

The diameter of circle is 5.1 cm

Solution:

Given that,

Circumference (C) of a circle is 16 cm

The formula for circumference of circle when diameter is given is:

C = \pi d\\\\\pi \text{ is a constant equal to 3.14}\\\\C = 3.14d

Rearrange the formula to get "d"

Divide both sides by 3.14

d = (C)/(3.14)

The above formula is used to find the diameter of circle

Given that, circumeference = C = 16 cm

Substituting we get,

d = (16)/(3.14)\\\\d = 5.095 \approx 5.1

Thus diameter of circle is 5.1 cm
