Answer:

Therefore the missing term is

(5)/(4)

And the Sequence is

1,(3)/(2),(5)/(4),(7)/(8),(9)/(16)

Explanation:

The Missing Pattern in b>

The given Sequence is

1,(3)/(2),\ ...\ ,(7)/(8),(9)/(16)

To Find:

Missing one

Solution:

In this Pattern two is added to the numerator and two is multiplied by the denominator for the next term.

First term is

(1)/(1)

Now for the second term, add two do the numerator and multiply two the denominator we get,

(1+2)/(1* 2)=(3)/(2)

Similarly for the third term do the same process we get

(3+2)/(2* 2)=(5)/(4)

Further for the fourth term we will get

(5+2)/(4* 2)=(7)/(8)

and so on.

Therefore the missing term is

(5)/(4)

And the Sequence is

1,(3)/(2),(5)/(4),(7)/(8),(9)/(16)
