Why do you think abnormally folded

hemoglobin would make it harder for the
protein to carry oxygen?

Answer AND Explanation:

When the hemoglobin is folded, there is less surface area for transportation and binding of oxygen. The oxygen binds poorly leading to anaemia. The oxygen is transported by haemoglobin in form of oxyhaemoglobin to the tissues.
