Answer:

I do not see a sequence, but I can tell you what to do to find them.

Explanation:

Use the formula "tn=a+(n-1)d" to find the answer.

I will give an example on how to do this so it is easier to understand.

Sequence: 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30... Find the next two terms.

So first, let's recall the formula: tn=a+(n-1)d

Now, let's find the first next term.

We see 7 terms already, so the next one would be the eighth term. Let's plug in what we know now. t8=a+(8-1)d

Now, we know that the first term is 6. Let's plug it in. t8=6+(8-1)d

Lastly, we need to find the common difference. Everything is increasing by 4. Now let's plug it in. t8=6+(8-1)4

Time to solve!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

t8=6+(8-1)4

8-1=7

7(4)=28

28+6=34

t8=34

Now we have solved it, and the 8th term is 34.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now we solve for the 9th term.

Plug in what we know for the 9th term. t9=a+(9-1)d

The first term is 6. Plug in what we know. t9=6+(9-1)d

Common difference is 4. Plug in what we know. t9=a+(9-1)4

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Solve!

9-1=8

8(4)=32

32+6=38

t9=38

Now we have solved it, and the 9th term is 38.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since I did not have a sequence, I gave you two examples of how to find the next terms in the sequence.

tn=a+(n-1)d is the formula to find the sequence next term.

To help you understand the formula as well, here is a diagram of what each part means.

tn= Term number (this is why you do not get rid of the t, and you replace the n with a number. In the parentheses, you will replace the n as well with the term number.)

a= First term. (You will replace this a with the first number you see in the sequence.)

d= Common difference (You will replace the d with the number that the sequence is increasing or decreasing by.)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I hope this helps!
